The emblem elements:
• The Symbol, radiant sun. The sun is the source of life that underlines the excellence and power of the athlete that takes part in the Games. Excellence is depicted in the olive branch and power in the spiral form in the center of the sun. The colors reflect the Greek landscape and project emotions like passion for life in the warm red, optimism in the orange, determination in the blue, freedom in the light blue and hope in the green.
• Always use the original artwork in order to ensure top quality in reproduction.

   
 

Configurations
There are three configurations for the games emblem: vertical, horizontal and circular. The vertical version is preferred. Please use good judgment depending on the space allotment.
Incorrect Use
The emblem must be used in its entirety. It should not be distorted in any way. What is not allowed:
• Inversion of the olive branch
• Omission of the emblem elements
• Change of the basic colors of the emblem
• The use of the emblem as a repeat decorative pattern
